As a small business owner and mother of three, Lorien has a lot on her plate, but her passion for her business is evident in the attention to detail she puts into every aspect of her work.
With a background in graphic design and love for all things gardening, Lorien has been able to utilise her skills to create a brand that is passionate about quality, authenticity, and ethical values. Lorien's flower farm is located in the picturesque countryside of Auckland, New Zealand, and she takes great pride in growing some of the best seasonal blooms for everyone to enjoy.
She has many exciting ideas for State of Bloom in the pipeline, and is constantly looking for ways to improve and expand her business.
She is passionate about sourcing and cultivating a collection of unique, sought-after cut-flower varieties to grow and have available for florists and floral designers.
Recently she has developed a passion for breeding unique Dahlia cultivars from seed, focusing on producing high-quality desirable cut-flower varieties.

THE FARMOur flower farm is currently closed to the public. However, we are currently in the process of opening an on farm studio to the local community for direct and local bouquet pick ups.
Our flower season takes a break from May to August, but you can be the first to know when it starts again in Spring by subscribing to our mailing list below.
